Tim Huff with former office manager Hunter

Tim Huff was born and raised in Binghamton, New York. He worked for several years in a drapery workroom, FabricCraft. There he learned the process of making custom draperies and how different fabrics handle. While in the workroom, he furthered his education in interior decorating. Eventually, Tim was transferred from the workroom to being an in-home and in-store decorator for the fabric store downstairs, Clinton Mill Ends. In the fabric store, Tim sold custom draperies, blinds and upholstery. He quickly built up a client following. During this time, he also taught a continuing education course at Broome Community College in Interior Decorating. Eventually the cold upstate New York winters got to be too much and Tim relocated to sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. Here he first worked as an in-home and in-store decorator for Harveys Fabrics. Again, quickly, building up a client following. He still does work for some of these clients to this day. He also gave in-store seminars. Next Tim was hired as a manager for a Best Wallpaper store. Here along with using his window treatment knowledge, he also learned about working with wallpaper. Thus expanding his interior decorating knowledge and giving him business managing expierence. In 1995, Tim opened Vintage Interiors. He has created beautiful custom windows for a long list of clients in Florida and out of state. Over the years, he has participated in Art in Bloom at Museum of Fine Arts, been president (2 years) of the Beach Drive and Downtown Business Association and supports the arts wherever possible. Tim also has a love of Florida history and is involved with various tours. He is also a fan of Heritage Village which has a collection of historical homes. He has done window treatements for some of the homes.
